When your order is accepted

Our acceptance of your order will take place when we send you an invoice for the Holding Fee. The contract between us will include these terms and any other terms we put down in email.

By paying a Holding Fee or Initial Deposit to us, you are accepting our Terms & Conditions.

When to pay

We will normally ask for a ‘Holding Fee’ before we begin work. This is non refundable once we have begun design work on your project. The Holding Fee is taken out of the final invoice for your project.

You must make payment of the ‘Initial Deposit’ before we commence work on making your furniture unless other arrangements have been made with us. There will be one or more further payments to make during the making of your project this will be laid out on an individual basis, depending on the size of the project.

The ‘Final Balance’ will be invoiced to you upon the delivery and installation date. This can be adjustable to include any cost changes that we have made throughout the design & manufacturing process. You will always be notified of any potential cost changes well in advance.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover the final product from all risks once it has been delivered.

Design Sign Off

By making payment of the Initial Deposit, you are agreeing to the final design of the project. Please check drawings carefully to ensure you are happy with them and contact us if there is anything you wish to clarify.

It is important that you are happy with the final drawings; because you are commissioning bespoke items, it is often very difficult to change designs once work has begun.

Design Changes

If you wish to make a change to the final design concept, please contact us. We will discuss it with you and let you know if the change is possible.

Changes to the design may be made only when agreed to by both yourself and Arbor Furniture and may include an additional design fee.

Changes to the design may have to be made during the manufacturing process in order to implement or accommodate technical adjustments and improvements.

If a change is required, we will notify you as soon as possible to discuss your options fully.
