This bespoke dining table is being made from oak, using traditional joinery methods. The mortice and tenon joints are held together using walnut pegs, which you can see here.
The inspiration for the design of this table came from traditional oak timber framing, specifically English cruck frames, which form an ‘A’ shape. There is also a Japanese influence in the shapes and curves of the leg frames. Design aspects can be small and quiet, but we think they make the difference.
